Bill was born on May 5, 1941 in Lynn, AR., the son of Henry and Ruth (Pagett) Sharp. Bill married Shirley A. Quillen on May 28, 1960. Bill was an Engineer for Rockford Products, Lake Erie Screw in Cleveland, OH, and Alcoa in Tuscon, AZ.
Bill is survived by his wife Shirley; son Tim (Kelly) Sharp of Rockford; daughter Kathleen (Will) Rowald of Roscoe; grandchildren: Amber (Kyle) Marcussen, Russell Sharp, Alec (Katelyn) Johnson, Adam Johnson, Bethany Johnson, Cole Rowald and Samuel Rowald.
Visitation to celebrate Bill’s life will be Wednesday October 5, 2016 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Advantage Funeral Home 7000 W. State St. in Rockford with graveside services to follow in Willwood Cemetery.
