Bruce Allen Riley, age 62, of Rockford, Illinois passed away on Monday, August 5, 2024. He was born on October 2, 1961 in Rockford, Illinois to Shirley (Wheeler) and Ralph Riley. He worked for 42 years at Ingersoll Cutting Tools where he made many close friends.
Bruce enjoyed fishing, fixing old cars, and he was always willing to lend a helping hand to others. He was a huge NASCAR fan and loved watching wrestling.
Bruce is survived by his daughter, Hope (Tyler) Riley; grandsons, Flynn and Owen; siblings, Bill (Becky) Riley, Sheila Conner, and Julie (Jim) White; nieces and nephews, Melissa, Brock, Caitlyn, Trevor, and Jordan; his beloved dog whom he would ride with in his golf cart, Moe; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Shirley and Ralph Riley; and brother-in-law, Kevin Connor.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family.
A visitation for Bruce will be held Saturday, August 10, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Advantage Funeral and Cremation Services, 7000 West State Street, Rockford, Illinois 61102, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM.
