Donna Sue Holloway

Donna Sue Holloway, 66, of Rockford, passed away peacefully, Tuesday morning, June 13, 2023 in her home after a lengthy illness. She was born October 26, 1956 in Rockford, the daughter of Odell and Doris Carroll. She married Jerrel R. Holloway, Jr., on June 16, 1990. Donna worked for many years as a bartender for the building association of the UAW Hall and later as an employee of KFC. She was proud to obtain her GED as an adult. Donna enjoyed playing bingo, card games and board games. She had a vast collection of salt and pepper shakers. Donna loved looking for treasures at garage sales, flea markets and thrift stores.

Donna is loved and missed by her husband, Jerrel; son, Thomas (Mary) Clark, Jr.; daughters, April (John) Meyer and Michelle (Mike) Williams; step-son, Thomas (Erinn) Holloway; step-daughter, Karin Holloway; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; special dog, Daisy; siblings, Diane Gulbrantson, Wanda Beck, Theresa Ives, Odell Carroll, Ronald Carroll and Robert Carroll. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Ashlyr Holloway.
