Elaine Jean Ham, 91, of Parks, AZ passed away on Thursday February 18, 2021. She was born on May 13, 1929 in Rockford to Gerald and Marie (Nantista) Wescott, she grew up with one sibling, her sister Esther. At the age of 17 she married Willie Ham in 1946. To this union were born six children: Tammy, Beverly, Gary, Thomas, Diane and Gloria. Elaine was a stay at home mother until her children grew up then she went to work at Rhodes Department Store then later at Digital Computer Factory. Elaine loved cooking and getting together with family and friends. Her favorite foods to make were Spaghetti and Meatballs and Fried Chicken. Elaine loved her dogs, she had Collies and Pomeranian's. She loved traveling in their motor home to Panama City and Lake Havasu City, sometimes stopping by in Missouri and Illinois to see her children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed and long remembered by her family and friends.
Surviving is her loving husband Willie Ham of Parks, AZ. Her loving children: Tammy (Kenny) Schaefer of Phoenix, AZ, Beverly (Gene) Johnson of Warrenton, MO, Gary (Gayle) Ham of Peoria, AZ, Tom Ham of Phoenix, AZ, Diane Naill of Rockford, IL, and Gloria (Larry) Barnes of Glendale, AZ.; Her loving grandchildren: Serena Peterson, 4 great-grandchildren; Shane & Crystal Peterson, 5 great-grandchildren; Tim & Theresa Naill, 3 great-grandchildren; Jason & Karen Naill, 2 great-grandchildren; Sean Harris, Kyle Ham, DJ Ham, Megan & Daniel Eames, 2 great-grandchildren; Michelle Ham, Ashley Ham, Chad & Terasha Johnson, 3 great-grandchildren; Angie & Greg Reichert, 4 great-grandchildren; Gena Johnson, Sonia & Jeremy Schiffmacher, 4 great-grandchildren; Audie Peters, Daniel Rodriquez, 2 great-grandchildren.
Graveside service to celebrate Elaine's life will be 11:00 am Friday June 18, 2021 at Willwood Cemetery 7000 West State Street in Rockford with Pastor Charles Waggoner officiating.
