Elaine Theisen Williamson was called by her Savior to leave her worldly home for her heavenly home to be with her Savior, husband Jerry Williamson, and family. Elaine is in her new home God prepared for her. Elaine, daughter of Vernon A and Ruth A (Weirman) Theisen is a graduate of Rockford West High School.
Elaine and Jerry Williamson were married July 25, 1964. They liked to travel visiting all states except for Alaska. Jerry preceded her on December 20, 2013.
Church was important to her accepting Christ as her Savior at a very young age. She sang in various musical groups in school and church. She taught Sunday School, children's church, worked in church offices and led music at retirement homes. Elaine is a member of First Free Church.
She is survived by nephews Robert Theisen, Richard Theisen Jr., Steven (Heather) Theisen, David (Tammy) Theisen, Brock (Karissa) Theisen; and nieces, Morgan Theisen and Ophelia Theisen.
Predeceased by parents, Vernon and Ruth Theisen; sister, Betty Jane Nyberg; brothers, Richard Theisen, Ralph Theisen, and Vernon R. Theisen; and niece, Emily Theisen.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 9, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Wesley Willows, 4141 Rockton Ave, Rockford, IL 61103, with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 pm.
