Evelyn Virginia Maxine (Hess) Addington

Evelyn Virginia Maxine Addington, 99, of Rockford, passed away peacefully Sunday morning January 24, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 15, 1921 in Marion, IL, the daughter of Daniel and Linna (Wolverton) Hess. Maxine was a loving mother who adored her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She married Earl Addington in 1968. Maxine was a woman of faith. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards and dancing. Maxine was a member of the Moose Club for many years.

Maxine is survived by her children, Woodrow Wayne Lee, Johnny Ray Lee, and Evelyn Lubrano; 12 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; sister, Joy (Marvin) Stanton; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Earl, children Irving Gerald Lee and Linna Helgerson, as well as siblings, Pauline and Freda.

A private graveside service will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
