Hubert Davenport Jr.

Hubert Davenport, Jr. "Minister Demp" was born on Decemeber 25, 1971 in Pensacola, Florida to Mamie L. Jones and Hubert Davenport, Sr. He Located to Rockford, IL in 1986. He received his GED in 1991. Demp attended No Cross No Crown Church and was fulfilled with the ministry outreach work.He enjoyed talking to people about life issues with great words of wisdom and encouragement. He was an avid writer and he worked in construction industry.

He leaves to cherish his Mother, Mamie L. Jones; Father, Hubert Davenport, Sr.; One Daughter, Akianaria Davenport; One Grandaughter, Ja'lania Davenport; three Stepdaughters, Zhane, Ranosha James, Kei'Shaura Smith; and Seven Grandchildren, Two Sisters, LaShawnda Perkins, (College Park, Ga) and RaShaunda Parham, (Miami Florida); Cousin/Brothers: Pastor Albert (Lorraine) Tank Weathers, Nathaniel, Darrell Carter, Mickey Stallworth; Aunts, Patricia Oneal (Birmingham, AL), Mattie Harris (Rockford, IL), Lillie Johnson (Pensacola, FL), Helen Rogers, Ethel Davenport (Miami, FL), Uncle, Henry james Lovely and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A visitation for Hubert will be held Saturday, August 16, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at No Cross No Crown Fellow Ship, 1715 9th St, Rockford, IL 61104. A funeral service will occur Saturday, August 16, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, 1715 9th St, Rockford, IL 61104. An interment will occur Saturday, August 16, 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Greenwood Cemetery and Chapel, 1011 Auburn St, Rockford, IL 61103.
