Jack was born on August 17, 1942 in Amboy Twp., IL, the son of Francis Emmet and Marjorie (Oakley) Mohr. Jack married Linda L. McCoy on June 17, 1967. Jack worked for over 43 years for different businesses in the Rockford area retiring from Barber Coleman. Jack was affiliated with Memorial Baptist Church as a child. He loved fishing and wanted to be known as a “good” fisherman.
Jack is survived by his wife of 48 years, Linda; daughter Laura Stewart; son Mark Mohr; two granddaughters; three grandsons; two great-grandchildren; four brothers and five sisters; many nieces and nephews.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
Visitation will be 10:00 am Thursday November 19, 2015 followed by a service to celebrate Jack’s life at 11:00 am at Halsted Road Baptist Church 3326 Halsted Road in Rockford with Pastor K. Ross Newland officiating. Advantage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Burial will be at Willwood Cemetery in Rockford
