Jon W. Shoemaker, 69, of Rockford passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving daughters on Friday, November 3, 2017. Born on May 19, 1948 in Black River Falls, WI. Son of Lynn and Dorothy (Odinius) Shoemaker. Jon found great enjoyment in Fishing, going to Farmers Markets, working with his brother, Clarence on Bee Hives and Honey but mostly spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren.
Survived by Stephanie (Adam) Buckner, Tiffany (Mark) Anderson, Courtney (Craig) Cox; grandchildren, Phillip, Jeremy, Alyssa, Kaitlin, Brayden, Kane, Elias; siblings, Clarence Shoemaker, Ann (Wayne) Paczesny, Annette (John) Cartwright, Brian Shoemaker, Beth (Al) Gagliano; several nieces and nephews. Preceded by his parents; daughter, Marie Shoemaker; brother, Larry Shoemaker; sister, Donna Shoemaker. The family would like to thank Heartland Hospice for their loving care of our Dad especially Ashley, Korin and Tyson.
