Juan was a very hardworking man, he did everything he could to help provide for his family, only stopping his farming work in the last ten years. He was a very humble man. Juan enjoyed reading his Bible and taking his time in prayer.
Juan is survived by his children, Genaro Ramirez Virgilio, Teresa Ramirez Sanchez, Arnulfo Ramirez Virgilio, Juana Baltazar, Laura Ramirez, Felicia Carrillo, Ana Maria Ramirez, Feliciano Ramirez Virgilio, and Amelia Rodriguez; twenty grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and sisters, Apolonia Ramirez Cruz and Carmen Ramirez.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Maria Lorenza Virgilio Garcia; parents, Juliana Cruz and Eutimio Ramirez; sister, Maria Luisa Ramirez Cruz; and grandson, Carlos Baltazar.
A visitation for Juan will be held Saturday, January 4, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Advantage Funeral and Cremation Services, 7000 West State Street, Rockford, Illinois 61102.
