Kenneth L. Graves

Kenneth L. Graves, 77, of Rockford, IL, passed away suddenly, Saturday January 2, 2020 at Swedish American Hospital. He was born January 19, 1943 in Freeport, IL, the son of Delbert and Zenna (Harris) Graves. Ken served in the United States Army and attended the Salvation Army Rockford Temple. Ken married Helen Hardesty on November 29, 1968 in Nashua, Iowa. He enjoyed watching tv and cheering on the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears. Ken was very knowledgeable and always had a good joke to tell. He was very tender-hearted and soft spirited. Ken loved his family and spending time with them.

Ken is loved and missed by his wife, Helen; sons, Richard Graves and James Graves; grandchildren, Zander and Makenna Graves; siblings, Gary (Pat) Graves and Zenna (Darryl) Busch; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
