

Lola L (Turner) Fetrow Holland, 94, of Rockford, passed away Sunday, September 17, 2017. Born August 4, 1923 in Viola, WI to Albert and Vinnie (Green) Turner. Grew up on farms’ in the hills of Vernon County, WI. She helped her parents on the farm with registered Holstein Cattle. Lola married Curtis Fetrow on December 31, 1977. Lola loved to fly with Curtis in his small plane. She loved her travels to Hawaii, Alaska, Canada and throughout the United States. Camping gave her much pleasure and many long lasting friendships. Her little dog was her constant companion. She loved to draw and write poetry having received a Golden Poet Award in 1991. Lola loved nature, animals and people. Her quilts and afgans to her family and friends expressed her artistic talent and her labor of love of baking will certainly be remembered by all. Curtis predeceased her on November 1, 2000.
Lola married Edwin Holland on May 13, 2002. Loved horses, mules and doing wagon rides with Ed and family. Lola loved meeting people and singing with the We Sing Group. Edwin predeceased her on November 30, 2012. Lola felt she lived a blessed life having had wonderful families and friends throughout her life.
Survivors include sister, Alta (Lyall) Barnes; stepdaughters, Elsie (Roger) Edwards, Connie (Jim) Hooper, Margaret (Mark) Fehler; stepsons, Mike (Kathy) Holland, Jerry Holland, Peter (Julie) Holland; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents; husbands, Curtis Fetrow, Edwin Holland; sisters, Clara (Glen) Morton, Verda (Edwin) Gray, Coral (Bob) Chariton, Doris (John) Deal; brother, Paul (Theo) Turner; stepsons, Richard Fetrow, Lester (Nanny) Koerner; step-grandson, Patrick Holland; nephews, Elgin Gray, Vernon Gray, Roger Gray, Albert Turner; niece, Alberta Levenick.
