

Marion I. "Granny Beans" Hensley, 96, of Janesville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, July 10, 2017. Born August 31, 1920 in Kenosha, WI. Daughter of William and Margaret (Fay) Merwin. She was a hard working woman who at most times was the sole provider for her daughters. She married the love of her life Jasper Hensley and they shared 17 years together until his passing. She enjoyed playing and cheating at cards with her best friend, Ruth. She loved to pick-up and go traveling anytime she could. Her most favorite pastime was cooking family dinners and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 15 at St John Vianney Catholic Church, 1250 E. Racine St, Janesville. Visitation at 10 a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to St Elizabeth’s Home, 109 S. Atwood Ave, Janesville, WI. Per Marion's wishes cremation rites were accorded.
