Michelle E. Hertzner

Michelle E. Hertzner, 54, of Winnebago passed away peacefully after a long illness on Wednesday September 8, 2021 with family at her side. Michelle was born on October 15, 1966 in Rockford, the daughter of Michael D. and Gayle A. (Pierce) Hertzner. Michelle was a school bus driver for the Rockford School District and the Harlem School District. Michelle was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses North Congregation. She loved being with her family, friends and going shopping.

Michelle is survived by her mother Gayle; brother Raymond M. Hertzner, sister Lisa G. Thrasher, brother Keith D. Hertzner and brother Brian K. (Kirin A.) Hertzner; best friend Dawn Wenz; daughter Kristen N. Hertzner; son Keith “Aaron” Hertzner; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Michelle was preceded in death by her father Michael.
