Ralph departed this earthly life on Tuesday, July 21, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, wisdom and unwavering devotion to his loved ones and the community.
Ralph was born on January 15, 1949, in Shreveport, Louisiana. Ralph was the beloved child of Boley Charles and Charlesetta Fisher. He grew up in a close-knit household, where laughter filled the rooms and every meal was a celebration of togetherness.
Ralph attended elementary, middle and high school in Shreveport, Louisiana, he graduated in the high school class of 1966. He attended and acquired an associate degree in manufacturing. Ralph worked and retired as an assembler for over 30 years at Belvidere Chrysler Corporation. He loved fishing, gardening and volunteering at St. Elizabeth Center. Ralph enjoyed helping his neighbors. He adored caring for children.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, Boley Charles Fisher and Charlesetta Fisher; two brothers, Charles L. (Dorothy) Fisher, John Louis (Sandra) Fisher; his beloved wife, Ethel Redd Fisher. He leaves to mourn four sisters: Lucille (Dr. Thomas) Fisher-Goshen, Jonetta (Leonard) Fisher-Flynn, Betty (Johnson) Fisher-Walker, and Dr. "P" (Maurice) Fisher-Peters; brother, Herbert Fisher; sister-in-law, Faye Fisher; uncles, Clifton (Elizabeth) Fisher and Lloyd (Shirley) Fisher; a host of nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
