Richard P. Sager, 85, of Rockford, Illinois passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 in his home with his wife by his side. He was born November 5, 1937 in Pennsylvania. He married Judy M. Jeffers. Richard was employed by Eco Lab until his retirement. Richard enjoyed playing games, golfing, horseshoe, camping, and woodworking. He loved his dog, CInnamon. Richard was a member of Berean Baptist Church and was a Mason. Most of all, Richard loved spending time with his family.
Survivors include wife, Judy Sager; children, Nancy Woody, Linda Sager; grandson, Brad Woody; and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents; and brothers, Ron Sager and George Sager.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, July 28, 2023 in Advantage Funeral Home, 7000 W. State Street, Rockford with a visitation from 11:00 AM until time of service. Burial in Pinnacle Hill Cemetery, Roscoe.
