10 grandchildren,Thomas M., Amanda, Markus, Philip (Dawn), Joshua (Nicole), Chelsea,Thomas H., Luke, Magdalena, and Rebecca. 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter.
1 half-sister Lois and step-sisters Joann and Linda.
She is predeceased by her parents and step-parents, half-sister Kathy (Sympson) Hamas, step-brother Ken and grandson Nathan.
She was a member of Central Christian Church and of the Elida club in Rockford. She enjoyed playing bingo with friends and she cherished family get-togethers.
Best known as Nana to her family. She held many jobs including telephone operator, camp cook, school secretary, columnist for the Pecatonica news, manager of several restaurants, catering, sales, & pest control. The family would like to thank PA Peterson and Unity Hospice for their compassionate care and support.
Rosa Lee's funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, August 15, 2025, at Central Christian Church, 6595 Guilford Road, Rockford, Illinois 61107. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. A private burial of cremated remains will take place at a later date at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
