Scott James Kinkade, 51, Rockford passed away at his residence on July 14, 2012. He was born on July 19, 1960 in Racine, Wisconsin to Robert and Patricia (Shoop) Kinkade. He graduated from high school in 1978 and worked for many years at the Elgin Sweeper Company as a CNC machinist.
Scott enjoyed fishing, golf and he was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.
He is survived by his parents, Robert and Patricia Kinkade; his children, Nathan Kinkade and Anna Kinkade; his brothers, David Kinkade, Patrick Kinkade and Chris Kinkade; his mother in law, Roberta Modglin; his stepchildren, Jennifer Maddox and Billy Maddox; and especially his beloved dog, “Muffin”.
Scott is preceded in death by his wife, Carol Kinkade and his brother Jeffery Kinkade.
A memorial service will be held at 2:30pm on Monday, July 23, 2012 at Advantage Funeral and Cremation Services, 7000 W. State Street, Rockford, Illinois. Reverend Ron Meyer will be officiating. Interment will be at a later date.
