Shelley Erna (Thomas) West

Shelley Erna Thomas (West) passed away peacefully on May 9, 2018 in Rockford Memorial Hospital. My beautiful Mama was born on August 20, 1955 in Rockford, IL. Most of her life was lived by raising all her children and grandchildren. She loved to spend time will all her children and grandchildren, that was her greatest joy. She is survived by her 6 children, 22 grandchildren, 3 great-grandsons and her boxer dog Holly. In her younger years she loved to ride horses with lots of her friends and she loved animals especially boxers and horses. She also loved taking long drives in the country and loved listening to music. She also enjoyed helping others and was a Jehovah's Witness. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her. She was preceded in death by both her parents Ervin and Erna Thomas, and her brother Donald Thomas.

Private services will be held by her family.
