

Tylor John. D’Angelo, 58 of Rockford passed away in his home March 21, 2014 after battling COPD, Pulmonary Fibrosis for many years. Born April 20, 1955 in Rockford, he was the son of John A. and Dolores R. (Akers) D’Angelo.
Tylor was a born handyman who could fix, repair, and refurbish any project he took on. He enjoyed cooking, playing guitar, singing, painting, and loved to watch John Wayne movies. Tylor was a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. Tylor was very spiritual and could quote any Bible passage. He had an enormous sense of humor and could make you laugh. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
His survivors include his mother, Dolores Ruth D’Angelo; daughter, Jennifer D’Angelo; sons, James and John (Amanda) D’Angelo; grandchildren, Nicolas, Demetrius, and Jeremiah; sisters, Teri (Ed) Herbert, Twyla (John) Hauser, and Tina (Steve) McCarty; brothers, Tim, Ted (Mary), and Joe (Amber) D’Angelo; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
He was predeceased by his father, John Antonio D’Angelo; brother, Thomas D’Angelo; and nephew, Joshua W. Milsaps.
Funeral service 10 a.m. Thursday, March 27, at Third Presbyterian Church 1221 Custer Avenue, Rockford with Pastor Murray Hanson officiating. Visitation, 6 – 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, at Advantage Funeral Home, 7000 W. State Street, Rockford. Interment in Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Winnebago.
