Wayne Allen Hardy

Wayne Allen Hardy age 67 of Rockford Illinois passed away on April 20, 2026. He was born in Rockford on April 20, 1959 to Wayne and Dorla Hardy. He grew up living in Rockford and Wisconsin. He loved the outdoors whether it was hunting, fishing, or looking for morel mushrooms. He had a passion for motorcycles and cars. He was a man of many trades and was always willing to help anyone out any way he could. His favorite thing in life though was always family. He was especially fond of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include sons, Wayne (Shanda) Hardy of Hillsboro, WI and Sherman (Amanda) Hardy; sisters, Cathy Hardy (Harvey) of Muscoda, WI and Doraine Grassman of Richland Center, WI; brothers, Donald Hardy of Muscoda, WI, Russell Hardy of Muscoda, WI, and Jeffrey Hardy of Shannon, IL; grandchildren, Lindsey (Mike) Downing of Wonewoc, WI, Kyle (Allison) McCracken of Hillsboro, WI, Dustin (Andrea) McCracken of Elroy, WI, Melissa (Timothy) Hatcher of Hillsboro, WI, Savannah Hardy of Hillsboro, WI, Shyanna Hardy of Sextonville, WI, Kristianna Hardy of Hillsboro, WI, Tyler (Shelby) Hardy, Tanner Hardy, and Jace Hardy; along with many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins and special friend/partner Sherry Metters of Rockford, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents Wayne and Dorla Hardy, grandparents, aunts and uncles.

A celebration of life will be May 2nd, 2026 at the Community Center in Hillsboro, WI from 1pm-5pm
