Mike and I want to extend our condolences to Al Devost family: We met Al at St. John’s prayer meeting , over 30 years ago! He always made us laugh and he had a fun sense of humor, I also saw him at the Rumford public library quite often, where I worked. He always gave me a big hug & asked  about my children & husband.  One could find Al  in the religious books section of the nonfiction aisle! 
We knew Al as a sensitive person, who  always tried bring a smile to someone’s face, & humbly helping the less fortunate! Again,  our condolences to Al’s family.

well may you rip sir im going to miss your smile and jokes my friend i enjoyed seeing you in the stores i worked at you always had a smile for me and always a gentleman to me and always made each other laugh we did shine bright upon us    thank you for your service  for us all your pain free now god bless
