

Craig "Bo" Edgar Bryant passed away on March 16, in the Rumford Hospital, having fought a long courageous battle with COPD. He was born on August 5, 1940 in East Peru, Maine a son of Derriel and Lillian (Turner) Bryant He was one of nine children, six boys and three girls.
Bo went to west Peru Grammar School and the Stephens High School in Rumford where he played football. Bo served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1957 - 1963 taking his basic training at Parris Island, S.C. Bo received his Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice in 1977.
Bo Married Patricia Ann Knox on December 7, 1963. They had two daughters and a son.
Bo was employed by the Rumford Fire department from 1964-1966, then at the Rumford Police Department where he worked as a patrolman #2 for 12 years. By purchasing JL Wooters Moving and Storage Co. Bo became his own boss for 14 years. He changed the name to Bryant Van Lines and became an agent for North American Van Lines and Coles Express. Besides moving household goods and freight, he had a contract with Boise Cascade Paper Company to haul paper within 299 mile radius of the Rumford Mill. Bo retired in 1994.
Bo loved this family, his dog named Lucky, and in his younger years he was a big Yankee fan. Bo had a passion for Genealogy's he worked endlessly gathering information from around the world and helped many people and towns find information on question they had. The family thanks all those that helped in the long illness and a special thanks to the staff at the Victorian Villa where Bo made home for the last few years.
Surviving are his children; Diane Ronan and companion David Smith of Florida City, Fl and son Dylan of Boston, Judy Campbell and husband Scott and son Travis Terrell of Lewiston, and Michael Bryant and wife Patti and children Garrison and Dorsey of Deerfield, NH.
