She was born in Rumford on August 8, 1929 a daughter of Joseph J. and Josephine M. (Arsenault) Blanchard.
Eileen attended St. Theresa’s School in Mexico and was a graduate of Mexico High School Class of 1947.
She was a communicant of Parish of the Holy Savior, sang in the choir and was a member of the Daughters of Isabella.
Eileen enjoyed playing cards, line dancing, traveling, cooking, listening to fiddle music, and loved spending time with her family at Roxbury Pond.
Surviving are her children, Timothy Chiasson of Rumford, Gary Chiasson and wife Astrid of Standish, Christopher Chiasson and wife Amy, Mark Chiasson and wife Katie of Dixfield, and Eric Chiasson of Turner; eleven grandchildren, Deven and Tara, Timothy and Benjamin, Tyler and Cooper, Marina and Genevieve, Alyssa and twins Riley and Emma; and two great grandchildren, Desirae and Payten.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Christopher Chiasson, and a brother Joseph Blanchard.
