He was born in Rumford, ME on December 13, 1943 a son of the late Joseph Patrick & Cecile (Belanger) Parent. He grew up in Rumford, attending local area schools.
Harvey spent time during his career working for Quincy Cold Storage, Raytheon and Home Depot. He also was an active member of the Eagles Club. In his spare time, Harvey enjoyed woodworking, snowmobiling and riding the trails on his side by side ATV.
He is survived by two daughters Donna L. Murphy and her husband Michael of Framingham, MA and Crystal L. Pirozzi and her husband Stephen of Sagamore Beach, ma and his three sons Michael Parent and his wife Doreen, Patrick Parent and his wife Leslie and Christopher Parent and his wife Alina all of Maine. He also leaves six grandchildren David, Cassidy, Shelby, Heather, Kayla and Brandon and four great grandchildren, Hayden, Summer, Paisley and Evelyn, as well as a brother Lionel Parent and his wife Susan of Arcadia, FL and several nieces and nephews.
