

He was born in Portland on October 29, 1919, the son of Frank and Stella Nasatowicz and graduated from Cheverus High School.
He served in the Company B 817th Engineering Battalion US Army for 39 months during World War II. He was a chef in his younger years and met his wife-to-be, Jean Canwell while working at the Barker Hotel in Oquossoc.
They were married on April 10, 1948 and have had over 65 years of happiness. He then gained employment at Oxford Paper Mill, where he worked for 35 years.
He was a communicant of Holy Savior Parish in Rumford. At the former St. Theresa Church in Mexico, he served as lector and Eucharistic Minister, administering Communion to the homebound, and cooking his famous spaghetti suppers for the Church benefits.
He is survived by his wife Jean of Mexico. Other survivors include his daughters Brenda Bisson and husband Ed of West Bath, Andrea Bernard and husband John of Rumford, and a son Kevin and wife Carol of Rumford, five grandchildren, Brook, Jared, David, Kaly, and Allison and two step-granddaughters, Heather and Michelle and special brother-in-law Rodney Canwell.
