He was born in Rumford, Maine on December 13, 1961 a son of Hubert and Nancy (Bauer) Palmer.
Michael was educated in Mexico Schools and was a graduate of Mexico High School Class of 1980.
While in high school, he played football, and baseball, and managed the basketball team. He was a member of the school band and played the saxophone.
Mike was also on a bowling league.
He attended the Mexico Baptist Church.
Michael was employed with United Insulation Company for several years, then moved to South Carolina and was a manager for a Convenience Store, moving back to Maine in 2013.
He loved his family and will be remembered as a quiet fun loving person with a great sense of humor.
Surviving are his parents, Nancy and Hubert Palmer of Mexico; a daughter Tyffani Hoff and husband Matthew of Rumford; a son Samuel Palmer of Rumford; a sister, Tammy Libby of Rumford; three brothers, David Palmer and fiancé Chrissy Bouthelette of Rumford, Randy Palmer and wife Carol of Peru, and Timothy Palmer and wife Kate of Mexico; a granddaughter Dayanara Hoff; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Hubert D. and Alfa Palmer, and maternal grandparents, Maurice and Elsie Bauer.
