He was born in Bethel, Maine on October 11, 1938 a son of Clyde A. Bertha (Herrick) Stevens.
Paul was a graduate of Gould Academy.
He proudly served his country in the US Air Force from 1957 – 1961.
Paul was employed for 37 years with the Rumford Paper Mill.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, and being with his beloved dog Paige who went everywhere with him.
Surviving are his daughter, Sharon Fatheree and husband Christopher of Bristow, VA; sisters, Charlotte Rowe of Raymond, Beatrice Hicks of Gardiner, Florence Walker of Bryant Pond, Christine Ulrickson and husband Roy of Norway, and Cheryl Young and husband Mac Billings of Bethel; grandchildren, Kristin Prosper and husband Steve, Hope Fatheree and McAllister Fatheree; and one great granddaughter, Madelyn Prosper.
He was predeceased by his parents, his wife Sandra (Miller) Stevens, a son Craig, and a brother David Stevens.
