He was born in Rumford Maine on February 2, 1943 a son of Earl C. and Marion Parker.
Bob was educated in Mexico schools and attended Mexico High school until grade 11. He received his GED with his son Bob Jr at the age of 50 from Region 9, an accomplishment he was very proud of.
He was employed as a logger for all of his life.
Bob married Charlotte Gillis on September 1, 1971, together they celebrated 43 years of marriage; she passed away in 2014.
He was a jack of all trades and loved working on small engines.
Bob was an outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting.
Surviving are his children, Crystal Burgess and husband Michael of Rumford, Priscilla Parkman and husband Joseph of Rumford and Robert E. Parker, Jr. of Mexico; five grandchildren, Paige Proctor, Katlyn Allen, Jeffrey Aube, Ashlynn Young and Melissa Burgess; and three great grandchildren, Wyatt Proctor, Molli Proctor and Ava Allen.
He was predeceased by his parents, his wife Charlotte, a grandson Michael Burgess II, and a sister Sharon Parker.
