Beloved father of Lisa Ann Heinkel, the late Lori Ann (late Russ) Tweedy and Lynn Annette (Rick) Doerr; loving grandfather of Brett & Brendan, Kody, Brad & Kyle and Katie & Courtney; dear uncle of John and Mike; special cousin to Catherine Gordon and friend to many.

David was a Retired St. Louis City Police Officer with 26 years of experience and an avid boater with his boat, the Captains Lounge.

SERVICE: Memorial Visitation, Saturday, October 12th, 10:00 am – 2:00 pm at Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary, 6464 Chippewa St. with a Funeral Service to follow at 2:00 pm. If desired, memorial contributions in David’s name may be made to Alzheimer’s Association.
