90, of Maplewood, passed away peacefully at Keystone Place on Wednesday, January 16, 2019.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Anne; brothers, Vernon and Robert; and sister, Phyllis.

James will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 68 years, Mary Louise; children, Mark Salwasser, Linda (Dan) Henkel, Paul Salwasser, Debra (Joe) Dean, Todd Salwasser, and Julie (Lance) Lindeman; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; other family and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, February 1 at 11 AM with visitation one hour prior at the Church of St. Bernard’s, 187 W Geranium, St. Paul.

Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

Memorials preferred to Sharing and Caring Hands.
