Betty Ann Hall

Betty Ann Hall, 92, of Parsonsburg died peacefully on Friday, September 19, 2025, at Bay Harbor Post Acute and Healthcare Center, Salisbury, MD. Born in Showell she was one of seven children, daughter of late Thomas Sewell and Olive B. Baker Downs.

Betty Ann and the love of her life, Paul, were poultry growers for several years. She was a faithful member at Jerusalem Methodist Church. Betty Ann was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who enjoyed being with her family.

She leaves behind daughters, Cecil “Pat” Patricia Moore (Edward), and Myra Farlow; son, R.C. Hall (Linda Furroughs); granddaughter, Melissa Lewis (Harley); two great-granddaughters, Madison (Jamie), and Emerson (Jordyn); sister-in-law, Jane Downs; and several nieces and nephews.

Betty Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Davis Hall, 2001; son-in-law, Phillip Farlow; siblings, Alma Wilkins, Dorothy Emberry, Louise Truitt, Franklin Downs, Dallas Downs, and Tommy Downs.

A Graveside Service for Betty Ann will be held Thursday, September 25, 2025, at 11:30 am at Dale Cemetery, Whaleyville, MD. Officiating will be Rev. Terry Fort.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Betty Ann to Jerusalem Methodist Church, 7131 Forest Grove Road, Parsonsburg, MD 21849.
