Christopher “Chris” Ronald Warfield, 45, of Salisbury passed away Monday, July 4, 2022 at TidalHealth. Born May 12, 1977 in Salisbury, he was the son of Ronald L. and Dorothy Faye Warfield.In addition to his parents Ron and Dottie Warfield, he is survived by his brother and wife, Brad and Katie Warfield; nephew, Bradley Warfield and his brother Kevin Perez and their mother Rosie Perez of Ecuador; aunt Norma Huffman of Waynesboro, VA, great-aunt, Grace Wilkins of Salisbury; great-uncle, Allen Lane and his wife Ruth; cousin, Garry Wilkins and his wife Melinda of Pittsville. He is also survived by cousins and their spouses in Waynesboro, Richmond, and Fredericksburg, VA.
Chris and Jason Andrews were best friends from the time they were born two months apart in 1977. Seth Blankensop was a close friend since high school.
Bradley, Kevin, and Brad loved playing rundown and whiffle ball with Chris in the front yard.
Chris graduated from Parkside High School in 1995 where he played soccer and was on the wrestling team. He attended the Corcoran School of the Arts and Design in Washington DC and earned his Bachelor of Arts from Salisbury University. Chris was an artist; his artwork hangs in homes and businesses in Salisbury and Delaware.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at 11am at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. A private interment will be held in Spedden-Seward Cemetery in Cambridge. Serving as pallbearers will be: Brad Warfield, John Andrews, Jason Andrews, Seth Blankensop, Don Sellers, and Mike Beall.
After Chris’ passing, Chris gave the most precious gift of organ donation which at this time has already helped four families.
