Conrad Stefan Winfred von Kollmar, 51, died suddenly on July 5, 2021. Born in Salisbury, MD to Donald Kollmar and the late Helga Kollmar. He grew up in various locations on the East Coast eventually settling again in Salisbury.
He is a 1988 graduate of Wicomico High School and worked extensively in the restaurant industry in Ocean City at Nick’s House of Ribs, starting as a line cook and working up to assistant general manager. In 2003 he began a career in real estate working at Long and Foster then transitioning to ERA Martin for the last ten years, an occupation that he truly loved and enjoyed every day.
Conrad enjoyed spending his time with his kids in a variety of sports endeavors including baseball games at Fruitland Little League, soccer games at Crown Sports Center, various travel leagues, as well as school sporting events at JM Bennett High School. He also volunteered at St. Francis de Sales school and church activities. Conrad was a die-hard Red Sox fan and a San Francisco 49er’s fan, which was passed down to his boys.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years Maria, sons Nicholas and Drew, father Donald, sister Desiree, and brother Charles. He is also survived by his six beloved cats.
Despite the suddenness of his passing, his presence will never be forgotten. He will be loved and missed more than he realizes.
A private celebration of life will be celebrated at a later date.
