

David Eugene Robbins, 65, of Hebron, MD. died March 18, 2016. David, son of Clarence Robert and Beverly Mae Smith Robbins, loving husband of Susan Giles Robbins, passed away on March 18, 2016 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, MD after a long battle with cancer. He is survived by his devoted wife Susan, five daughters, Celita (Brian) Abresch, Anne (Steven) Webster, Crystal Robbins, Katherine (Kevin) Simpkins and Amy (David) Harris. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, Chloe, Jacob & Rowen Abresch, Sadie Webster, Cayli Crockett, Marleigh & Liam Curran and Clara & Campbel Simpkins, and Susie & Porter Harris. David was preceded in death by 3 grandchildren, Steven Jr., Sophia & Macey Webster. David has four brothers Robert, Charles, Michael and Paul Robbins. David served in the US Army from 1968-1976. David retired from Giant Food as Deli Manager in 2006. After obtaining his degree in HMR Management, he went on to work for the State of MD Department of Juvenile Services at the LESCC as a Food Administrator. He also loved fishing/crabbing, playing with his children and grandchildren, and traveling with his wife. As a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, he loved to provide service to those in need and was a friend to everyone. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. A viewing will be held Thursday evening from 6pm-8pm at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury. Services will be held on Friday at 11am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located 106 Greenlawn Ln, Salisbury, MD 21804. Interment will be at Springhill Memory Gardens in Hebron, MD.
