Hazel Mardella Smith, 96, of Salisbury passed away Monday, Dec. 27, 2021, at her residence. Born March 15, 1925, in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late William Oscar & Myrtle Mardell Lang Brown.
Her children, Patricia A. Batze and Kathy D. Martin; grandchildren, Pattiann Batze Harris, Daniel R. Batze Jr., Martin W. Batze, John W. Martin Jr., Tiffany Martin Garcia, and Charity A. Martin.; and nine great- grandchildren survive her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin W. Smith who passed in 1972; along with four sisters and two brothers.
