

James “Jim” N. Ennis, 77, of Hebron passed away Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake. Born March 10, 1940 in Parsonsburg he was the son of the late James M. Ennis and Pauline Vetra.
Jim served in the United States Army and was a member of the American Legion Post 64. He worked for Dresser Wayne for 40 years. He enjoyed hunting, training and racing horses, managing and playing softball and was a faithful Chicago White Sox Fan. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Marie Ennis; two children, Michael Ennis of Easton and Cheryl Watson and her husband Allen of Parsonsburg; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; three half-brothers, Ronald, Tom, and Dennis Lowe; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Monday at 11am at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Rev. Tim Phillips will officiate. Interment will follow in Springhill Memory Gardens.
