We were six and now we're four.  We'll forever miss Mark and Joyce...the two middles of the group.  It's good that they're together now.  Love you both.  💝💖

Mark "Bubba" Conner.  Where do I begin. There are so many stories and memories I could tell about how much of an amazing man he was and the time we spent together. I remember one morning me Mark and Johnny went to Daytons for breakfast and we sat there so long talking and listening to all his stories lost in time that they were serving lunch we had been there so long. He could tell stories unlike no other and could pause the story and pick up right Where he left off 10 minutes later. He loved looking for deals and he never forgot anything. He knew how much I loved music and classic rock and he came in one night and gave me a cd of Eric Clapton with BB King remembering us talking about it and found it in his collection and wanted me to have it. He loved finding things and giving it to them. I value the things he remembered and gave me but the thing I will value more than anything is our friendship and bond we had. He had the biggest heart and smile and loved his family more than anything in the world. Bubba I know you're looking down on us telling everyone one of those classic stories that only you could tell.

When I think of my Uncle Mark, the first thing that comes to mind is his heartwarming smile — the kind that made you feel welcome, seen, and loved. He had a story for everything, always ready to make you laugh or think, and he somehow always knew exactly where to find the best deals in town. If you needed to know where to go, Uncle Mark had the answer.

Family was everything to him. He showed his love not through grand gestures, but in the everyday things — in the way he listened, in the way he remembered the little things, in the way he simply showed up.

The last chapter of his life wasn’t easy. Life weighed heavy on him at times, and yet even in the hardest moments, I never forgot that smile — the one I will always carry in my heart. I take comfort now in knowing that the pain has lifted. He is at peace. And somewhere, that beautiful smile is shining again.

Rest easy, Uncle Mark. You were deeply loved, and you will be dearly missed.

Knew Bubba My Whole Adult And When We Met On Nite Crew We Started Hang Out Traveling, And  Doing Everything We Could ...And Then He Became Nite Captain And On That Special Nite MY Dream Had Come True ....I Knew Bubba Would Just Let Me Work ..And Be Great Hearted And Kind During The Very Hard Times !

I’ve always loved this picture. Pretty sure it was insanely freezing outside but Dad made sure we still went to see the Christmas lights together. As much as he huffed and puffed about getting his picture taken, he insisted we take a family photo. This is how I’ll always remember my Dad. Making sure he was there to make memories with all his kids, and always having a story to tell, usually followed by a corny Dad joke. Really am going to miss those. Growing up I couldn’t have asked for a more caring and compassionate Dad and friend. Love you forever Pacha ❤️

I worked with Mark at Giant, we became good friends. He had such a kind heart and would do anything for you. I loved his stories about him and Brian and the funny thing they got into. He was like me, Thrifting and yard sales were top dog in our lives. For him “ getting the deal” is what he loved. I will miss the him, he will always be in my heart.

Mark was a very kind person.  Even after the divorce he would send me presents with kids. We had our ups and downs but always loved him in my own way. My favorite memory was vacations with Matthew and Robbie .  He loved his boys.  I will miss him and always remember our time together. Yes that's me in the picture!

The last few years were hard on him but he enjoyed retirement by literally leaving no stone unturned hunting for deals. He was amazed at my ability to organize the disasters he left me in shed and storage unit alike. I'd chastise him and say "when are you ever gonna do something will all this??"...to which he'd say "Son, I'm not. One day it'll be your problem" and flash that shit eating grin. I'd just laugh and shake my head. Well Pop, give me the patience you had to help me with the next one would ya.

My adulthood memory of my Dad was this huge jovial personality who was so proud to see his kids maturing into young adults. We would laugh and laugh at the same wore out stories and mock him for asking "Did I ever tell ya about....." Yeh Dad we've heard it...but I know your gonna tell us anyway so hit me with it lol.

My child's memory of what my Dad looked like. Always smiling and spoiling us with so many toys we were the envy of the neighborhood kids. A story he loved to remind me about was being at Wilson's auction with me when i was maybe 7 or 8. He was bidding on baseball cards for us and somebody was bidding me up and he couldn't see who it was till he peered down the table and saw little me bidding. "We were bidding against each other!!"

We are thinking of the entire family at this sad time. Sending healing thoughts to you all.
