Michael A. Willey, 61, of Parsonsburg passed away Sunday, March 8, 2026, at his home after a long and heroic battle with cancer. Born October 4, 1964, in Salisbury he was the son of Albert N. Willey and the late Mary Virginia Davis Willey.
Michael spent numerous years working with cars in the automotive business and later spent the remainder of his career working in auto glass. He obtained several specialized certifications and last worked at Browns Glass where he was the shop manager. He enjoyed being self-employed with his dear friend and brother-in-law, Britt Goff in the home improvement business. Most especially Michael loved music and together with his brother, Charlie they enjoyed performing at many karaoke events as the “Willey Boys.”
A selfless human being, Michael would do anything and everything for anyone but never accepting help in return. He has always taken care of his parents and continued to care for his 96-year-old father even up until his last days.
In Michael’s memory the family would ask that you honor him by going out and doing a kind selfless deed for someone without asking anything in return.
In addition to his father, Albert, Michael is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Rhonda Willey; daughter, Rebecca Willey; granddaughter, Jasmine Taylor who Michael and Rhonda mostly raised with Jasmine being the love of Michaels life. Michael proudly raised his stepson, Tyler Dixon. He is also survived by a brother, Charlie Willey (Bonnie); sister, Diane Stephens (Ira); mother-in-law, Joanne White; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Frank and Michael White, Teresa Goff, and Mary Hensley (Vic); and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his mother, Mary he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Britt Goff.
The family would like to thank all the many special people who cared for Michael: Tidal Health Oncology and Coastal Hospice and Palliative Care.
