Norma Lee was a Washington High School and Salisbury Institute graduate, held various office and customer service positions, and especially excelled at being a stay-at-home mom and homemaker. She was a faithful 50+ year member of Trinity United Methodist Church and also held dear her childhood church, St. Peters United Methodist Church. She enjoyed attending church services and functions, sharing a meal with her family, gardening, reading, shopping, and sitting down for a cup of coffee with one of her many friends.
A funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 am at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. A private interment will be held at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Oriole. Norma Lee leaves behind many fond memories for those who knew and loved her. Her children suggest the best way to keep their mother’s memory and spirit alive is to follow her example: Love your family and friends unconditionally, give an encouraging smile and kind word to all you meet, give thanks for what you have and share it with others, search for the good in people ignoring the rest, and laugh heartily.
