Robert “Robby” Edward Lee Noble, 58, of Quantico, MD passed away suddenly January 24, 2023. Born on April 3, 1964 in Salisbury, MD he was the son of Ronald L. Noble and the late Charlotte Mills Noble of Tyaskin MD.
Robby started his love of hunting and fishing at a young age while visiting family in Dorchester County and spending time with his family in Tyaskin at their cabin. Robby and his best friend Paul Elias were always the boat to beat in the West Side Volunteer Fire Department Outcasters Fishing Tournament. They always had boat entry number 007. In 21 years of the Outcasters Open he and Paul made the leader board every year except for one. He loved being with nature and hunting for Sika deer which was his second passion next to fishing. Robby was well known in the area for his exceptional carpentry skills. He always took his time and never cut corners to make sure his job was perfect. He had an eye for detail, which enabled him to be a great wood carver just like his grandfather. He just spent the last two years building his dream home with his fiancé Pam. The craftsmanship of his work was admired by all who drove by. He was a laid back easygoing guy who was quiet with a very sensitive heart. He loved being a homebody, his family and his children. Robby knew everyone and everyone knew Robby. If he was your friend, you had a friend for life. He was known to many as a true Eastern Shore Gentleman and Craftsman. He once said, “I’m not rich and I don’t have much to give you but I have my hands and they can make something beautiful.”
In addition to his father he is survived by his daughters, Tiffany Speakman and Kristi Noble and her mother Tina Noble; granddaughter, Emelia Speakman; sister, Lori Noble O’Malley (Pat); nieces, Charlotte Madison and Kathryn O’Malley; aunt, Bonnie Elliott (Wayne); several cousins, many friends, and his fiance’, Pamela Spengler and their Yorkie, Suzie. In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by his daughter, Tammy Speakman and his Chesapeake Black Lab named Black Dog.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 12pm at the West Side Fire Department, 21045 Nanticoke Rd, Bivalve, MD 21814. Please wear your favorite fishing shirt in his memory.
