An animal lover, Rose enjoyed feeding the birds and watching them each day.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, John T. Adkins; brother, Phil Richardson; sister, Cecilia Hayward (Doug); and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Bernadette Cantwell.
Private family service will be held at a later date.
