Albert V. Rodriguez

Albert V. Rodriguez, 73, went to be with his Lord on February 28, 2018. He was born in San Antonio TX on September 16, 1944 to Jose E. Rodriguez and Olivia Rodriguez. Albert was an avid sports enthusiast, he loved to dance, listen to music, and spend time with his family, cousins and many wonderful friends. He was an inspector for 20 years for the City of San Antonio from which he retired. He is a Military Veteran from the U.S. Marine Corps. He is preceded in death by his parents; his daughter: Elizabeth Maricela Rodriguez; brother: Rodolfo Rodriguez; sister-in-law: Dora Elia Rodriguez; and brother-in-law Danny F. Cavazos. He is survived by his sister: Elva Cavazos; brother: Ernest Rodriguez (Irene); Nieces and Nephews: Ruth Rodriguez, Rojelio Rodriguez, Linda Cavazos-Pursel (Anthony), Ernest Rodriguez Jr., Gina Rodriguez (Tim); great-nieces: Jessica Rodriguez (Victor Morales), Lisa Rodriguez (Andy Fabela), Valerie Cisneros (Anthony), Victoria Lopez; numerous great-great nephews and niece. Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Roy Akers from 5:00-9:00 p.m., with the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Procession will depart on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. for an 11:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at Holy Rosary Church with interment to follow at San Fernando II.
