Aleene Thompson moved on to her heavenly reward on February 6, 2015 at the age of 94. She was born in Oklaunion, Texas but spent most of her life in San Antonio. She was a homemaker and also helped her husband, Bill, in their weather stripping business. Aleene and Bill were married for 75 years. She is survived by daughter, Betty Loper of Philadelphia, MS; son, Lee Thompson of San Antonio; six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was a member of First Baptist Church in San Antonio, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 13, 2015. Visitation with the family will be held 30 minutes prior to the church service.
