Andrew Aguillon, beloved husband, father and brother, entered rest on September 7, 2014 at the age of 64. A native of San Antonio, he was born to Elijio and Julia Aguillon on October 14, 1949. Andrew retired from the Athletic Department with SAISD after many years of service. He was an avid golfer and was a lifetime member of the Pan American Golf Association, winning the National title in 1986. He was instrumental in establishing the Aguillon Golf Classic benefiting the Texas Diabetes Institute. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Hope and their children; AJ, Debra and Emily Aguillon; brothers: John, Ray, Jesse, Eliseo, Elijio and Jimmy Aguillon sisters: Adela Sandoval, Janie Aguillon, Elida Medina; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. The family will receive friends at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, September 11, 2014 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 9:30 a.m., Friday, September 12, 2014 to celebrate a 10:00 a.m. Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church.
