

She was the youngest of her siblings and is preceded in death by her brothers Henry Escobar, Jesse Ortiz, Daniel (Dan) Ramirez, Martin Ramirez, her sister Eloisa R. Parrilla, and her parents Jose Ramirez and Eva Rodriguez-Ramirez.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews: Alfred Elizondo and wife Esther; Henry R. Parrilla Jr. and wife Socorro; Frank R. Parrilla and wife Angela; Eva Correr; Yolanda Briones and husband George; Carmen Guajardo; Elsie; Rosemary; Danny Ramirez; Jesse Ortiz and wife Grace, as well as several great-nieces and great-nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews, great-great-great-nieces and nephews, and numerous other relatives and friends.
Angie had many friends and neighbors who loved and cared for her dearly. She was affectionately known as the Queen (Grandma) of Bar America, a place where she shared countless memories and friendships. Aunt Angie loved attending Spurs games, going out to eat, and spending time with her family.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Alejandro Lerma, all her doctors, friends, neighbors, and family members who continually looked out for her. She will be deeply and dearly missed.
The family will receive friends at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, December 15, 2025, at Funeraria del Angel Roy Akers, with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening.
A funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 8:45 a.m. on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, for a Celebration of Life Mass at 9:30 a.m. at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Little Flower. Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery #2.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
