Antonia Rosas Reyes

Antonia Rosas Reyes born on August 15, 1926 went to be with our Lord on February 9, 2018 at the age of 91. She was a loving and compassionate mother and grandmother. Antonia is preceded in death by her husband Santiago U. Reyes, parents Ignacio C. and Maria Esparza Rosas, son in law Richard Morales and grandson Matthew Martinez.

Antonia was most proud of her family and being a decedent of the Alamo. She had achieved her GED, and LVN License. She worked as a school crossing guard for twenty five years receiving several safety awards from the San Antonio Police Department. Antonia enjoyed crocheting making beautiful pieces for others to enjoy, cooking and tending to her flower garden. She will be forever missed.

She is survived by her sons; Santiago Reyes and wife Lupe, Alex Reyes, Gilbert Reyes and wife Linda; daughters, Socorro Morales, Josephine and husband Jesse Cruz, Rose Martinez, Gloria and husband Bobby Wolfshohl, Belinda and husband Roman Rodriguez; 22 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm, at Roy Akers Funeral Home, 515 N. Main Ave, San Antonio, TX 78205

Prayer Service Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 7:00 pm

Procession Friday, February 16, 2018; 10:00 am for the interment service at San Fernando No. 2 Cemetery.
