Bruna D. De Leon Torrez

Bruna D. Torrez, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, January 24, 2013, at the age of 75. She was born in Gonzales County, to parents Felipe and Lioneres De Leon, on October 6, 1937. Bruna will always be remembered for her love and dedication that she had for her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a loving wife and mother who worked at the Tower of Americas for 8 years. Bruna was preceded in death by her parents and survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Narcisso M. Torrez; sons, Carlos (Mary) Torrez, Antonio (Michele) Torrez, and Jose Francisco (Maria) Torrez; brother, Frank (Sue) De Leon; sister, Patsy; and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers on Sunday, January 27, 2013, from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A procession will depart the funeral home the following morning, Monday, January 28, 2013, at 8:30 a.m. for a 9:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 159 Camino Santa Maria, San Antonio, Texas.
