Carlos Limon Sr, 95, went to be with his Lord on February 9, 2018. Carlos was born in Cadereyta Jimenez, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, and immigrated to Texas with his parents while he was still an infant. He served his country in the United States Army and was a veteran of World War II and a Purple Heart recipient. He is preceded in death by his father Vidal Limon; mother Guadalupe Limon; son Carlos Limon Jr.; brothers Alberto, Trinidad, Alfredo, Ruben; sisters Aurelia, and Luz. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Aurora; daughter Gloria McDonald and husband Chuck, son Victor Limon; grandchildren Joseph, Stephen, David, Jennifer, Vicente, Andres; great-grandchildren Angel, Summer, Nathan, Cassandra, Cristian, Mia, AudryRayne, Zayden; sisters Dora, Julia, Patricia, Lidia, Paula.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria del Angel Roy Akers 515 N. Main Ave on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. On Thursday, February 22, 2018, the Mass of the Resurrection begins at 10:00 a.m. at Basillica of the Little Flower 906 Kentucky St., with interment to follow at San Fernando II.
