Consuelo De Leon

Consuelo De Leon was born in Hillsboro, TX on November 14, 1910 to Faustino & Cruz (Menchaca) Mendez, and entered eternal rest on Thursday, November 24, 2011 in San Antonio, TX. She was an active member of Emanuel United Methodist Church, serving as a Sunday school teacher for many years. Consuelo was a woman of strong faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank De Leon; sisters, Feliz McDaniel and Herlinda Cerda. Surviving are her son, Joel E. Falcon (Andrea); grandchildren, Laura Coy (Frank), Joel E. Falcon, Jr; great-grandchildren, Rachel, Elizabeth, Christina and Rebecca Coy, Julia, Danielle and Mia Falcon; niece, Linda Cerda; grand-nieces, Marleyna Davis (Andy), Lucinda Crane (Greg). The family would like to extend their gratitude to her dearest friend, Lucy Martinez and the staff of Morningside Manor. The family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, November 27, 2011 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers with a Chapel Service at 2:00 p.m. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 28, 2011 at San Fernando Cemetery #2.
